The Other Side of The Ink - Tattoo Convention 11/12 March 2017 Rome

Tattoo convention in Rome dedicated to women artists - 11-12 March 2017

The first tattoo convention in Italy dedicated solely to women artists is back in the Italian capital on 11 and 12 March. More than a hundred tattooers from around the world will be in Rome on Saturday and Sunday for the fifth edition of 'The Other Side of The Ink'. Tattoo fans and visitors can watch the artists at work or even be their own 'work', thanks to the work that will be performed live at the exhibition from more than one hundred attending artists. The rise of women in the world of tattoo was determined by certain factors such as the grace and touch sensitivity, the abilities to draw bright colors and fine lines, eliminating boundaries and use new styles like tattoos watercolor, or tattoos fantasy depicting characters from manga and cartoons. The skill of these artists has brought the need to create an event made solely for them. In particular the representation of the beauty of the female body with its sensuality and sexuality, as shown by the tattoos of Dalila, girlfriend of neo winner of Sanremo 2017 Francis Gabbani with West's Karma. This year the convention also provides visitors with parallel events related to the art world, edited by Betty Soares. In addition to the contest and the awards of the best work performed during the convention will be on stage Black Qamar, who will perform in a sensual oriental dance, Mister and Miss Bo, who will offer an interesting freakshow, Japo, juggler who will entertain the audience, Alice Moon, body painter and actress, Les Jambettes, can-can dancer. The event gets bigger and bigger, so that it has partnered with Fashion Look Academy, a real academy dedicated to the world of beauty, aesthetics and tattoos.
